ABOUT

Two of my passions are students and marriage.  God has given me the awesome opportunity to work with students for most of the last 10 years.  I love it.  Every day.  It is an amazing thing to be able to honestly say you love your job.  In truth, love is probably too weak a word.  I cannot believe I have the honor of doing what I do. (In fact, I blog about my experiences as a youth pastor here: www.fromtheheartofstudents.blogspot.com. This blog is geared toward parents, check it out!)

However, as I mentioned I have another passion-marriage.  What I mean is I am passionate about seeing marriages not only 'work', but thrive.  Over the years we have been blessed with tons of great wisdom from some amazing people and I thought I would see if I could 'share the wealth' via this little blog.  No one may read it, but at least it gives me an outlet.  Much of this wisdom has had a profound effect on my marriage, and who knows, maybe it will for you too.  I hope it will be filled with practical tips that can easily be applied to help a marriage whether good, bad, or great-get even a little better.

All that being said, I don't mean to brag, but I LOVE BEING MARRIED!!! It is so awesome.  There are so many misconceptions out there about marriage that it can seem scary.  The truth is, that God made it, and He made it GOOD.  If we look to Him and the design He planned for marriage it can be so much better than the world would like us to believe.

It does help that I have an amazing husband.  I mean really really amazing.  He is incredible and I cannot even begin to say enough about him.  He is not only a great husband but also a great dad.  I have been so blessed!
